Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).


Target Information

NR1H3 (oxysterols receptor LXR-alpha) is a nuclear receptor with ligand-dependent transcriptional activation activity.
Its interaction with retinoic acid receptor (RXR) converts RXR from a silent DNA-binding partner to an active ligand-binding subunit, mediating retinoid responses via LXRES.
LXRES are DR4-type response elements composed of direct repeats of two similar hexanucleotide half-sites spaced by four nucleotides.
NR1H3 is crucial for cholesterol homeostasis, regulating cholesterol uptake through MYLIP-dependent ubiquitination of LDLR, VLDLR, and LRP8.
It also interacts functionally with RORA to regulate genes involved in liver metabolism.
