This antibody recognizes an extracellular epitope on CD64/FcgammaRI, a 72 kDa single-chain type I glycoprotein expressed on monocytes/macrophages, dendritic cells, and activated granulocytes. The epitope is sensitive to formalin fixation.
Target Information
CD64 (FCGR1A) encodes a high-affinity Fc-gamma receptor, one of three related gene family members located on chromosome 1. It plays an important role in immune response and has been studied in cervical adenitis and tetrasomy 21.
