This antibody recognizes an extracellular epitope on CD64/FcγRI, a 72 kDa single-chain type I glycoprotein expressed on monocytes/macrophages, dendritic cells, and activated granulocytes.
The epitope is sensitive to formalin fixation.
Target Information
CD64 (FCGR1A) encodes a high-affinity Fc-gamma receptor involved in immune response.
It is one of three related gene family members located on chromosome 1.
CD64 function and expression have been studied in conditions such as cervical adenitis and tetrasomy 21.
