Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
This gene encodes a member of the DEAD box protein family, characterized by the conserved motif Asp-Glu-Ala-Asp (DEAD), and functions as an RNA helicase. DEAD box proteins are involved in various RNA-related processes including translation initiation, splicing, and ribosome assembly. They play roles in embryogenesis, spermatogenesis, and cellular growth. DDX39 is implicated in the prognosis of gastrointestinal stromal tumors. A pseudogene exists on chromosome 13, and multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described.
