Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Kallikreins are a subgroup of serine proteases with diverse physiological roles. Many kallikreins are implicated in carcinogenesis and may serve as biomarkers for cancer and other diseases.
The KLK8 gene is one of fifteen kallikrein subfamily members located in tandem on chromosome 19. The encoded protein may participate in proteolytic cascades in the skin and serve as a biomarker for ovarian cancer.
Alternative splicing of this gene results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
