Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Kallikreins are a subgroup of serine proteases involved in diverse physiological functions. Many kallikreins are implicated in carcinogenesis and may serve as biomarkers for cancer and other diseases.
The KLK8 gene, one of fifteen kallikrein subfamily members on chromosome 19, is believed to participate in proteolytic cascades in the skin and may serve as a biomarker for ovarian cancer.
Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
