Target Information
Mouse IgG1 is a subtype of immunoglobulin G produced by B cells in response to antigens. It is the most abundant IgG subtype in serum and plays a key role in adaptive immunity. Composed of two heavy and two light chains, it mediates:
- Opsonization
- Complement activation
- Antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC)
- Regulation of immune responses, including T cell activation and B cell inhibition
Widely used in research and diagnostics such as ELISA, Western blotting, and immunohistochemistry, as well as in therapeutic research including immunotherapy and vaccine development.
