Description: The monoclonal rat IgG2a, kappa is useful as an isotype control immunoglobulin.

Applications Reported:This rat IgG2a isotype control has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.

Applications Tested: Has been pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometric analysis human peripheral blood cells. This can be used at test size: 5 µL (0.25 µg) per test. A test is defined as the amount (µg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 µL. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test.

Excitation: 488-561 nm; Emission: 578 nm; Laser: Blue Laser, Green Laser, Yellow-Green Laser.

Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.

Target Information

Rat IgG2a is an immunoglobulin subclass that is commonly used in research and diagnostic applications. It is produced by the rat immune system and is known for its ability to activate complement and mediate antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC).
