The monoclonal rat IgG2a, kappa is useful as an isotype control immunoglobulin.
Applications Reported: This rat IgG2a isotype control has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: Pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometric analysis of human peripheral blood cells.
Use at 5 µL (0.25 µg) per test (100 µL final volume). Cell number range: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test.
Excitation: 488–561 nm; Emission: 578 nm; Compatible Lasers: Blue, Green, Yellow-Green.
Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.

Target Information

Rat IgG2a is an immunoglobulin subclass commonly used in research and diagnostic applications. It activates complement and mediates antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC).
Molecular weight: ~160 kDa (two heavy chains and two light chains).
Used as a control or reference antibody in rat model experiments, flow cytometry, and immunohistochemistry.
