Product Specific Information

This monoclonal mouse IgG2a, kappa antibody serves as an isotype control for mouse IgG2a antibodies.
Applications Reported: Suitable for cell surface and intracellular flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: Pre-titrated and validated for flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells. Recommended use: 5 µL (0.5 µg) per test in a final volume of 100 µL. Cell number range: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test.
Excitation: 488–561 nm; Emission: 578 nm; Compatible lasers: Blue, Green, Yellow-Green.
Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.

Target Information

Mouse IgG2a is a subtype of immunoglobulin G produced by B cells in response to antigens. It plays a key role in the adaptive immune response, including opsonization, complement activation, and antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity.
It regulates immune processes such as T cell activation and B cell inhibition.
Widely used in research applications like ELISA, Western blotting, and immunohistochemistry, as well as in therapeutic studies including immunotherapy and vaccine development.
