Product Specific Information
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.
Advantages:
- Enhanced specificity and sensitivity
- Lot-to-lot consistency
- Animal origin-free formulations
- Broader immunoreactivity due to the large rabbit immune repertoire
Target Information
Estrogen-related receptor alpha 1 (ERRα, ERR1) is an orphan nuclear hormone receptor. ERR family members share an almost identical DNA-binding domain with 68% amino acid identity to the estrogen receptor. ERRα binds to the ERRα response element (ERRE) containing a single consensus half-site (5'-tnaaggtca-3') and can interact with the MCAD response element (NRRE-1), acting as a regulator of the MCAD promoter. ERR1 functions as a metabolic regulator and is expressed in tissues that preferentially metabolize fatty acids. The corresponding gene is NR3B1.
