Product Specific Information
- Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
CD56 (NCAM, neural cell adhesion molecule)은 면역글로불린 패밀리의 막관통 당단백질로, 신경계에서 접착 분자로 작용하며 120–180 kDa 범위의 여러 isoform으로 발현됩니다.
CD56은 T 세포 및 NK 세포에 존재하며, 세포 이동, 축삭 성장, 시냅스 가소성에 관여합니다. Polysialic modification은 세포 접착을 감소시킵니다.
CD56은 laminin 및 integrin 등 세포외기질 성분과 결합하여 동종 및 이종 결합을 매개합니다.
또한 CD56은 신경내분비 종양 및 난소 granulosa 세포 종양의 민감한 마커로 널리 사용됩니다.
CD56 기능 이상은 광견병 및 blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasms과 관련이 있습니다.
