Target Information
CD56 (NCAM, neural cell adhesion molecule)은 면역글로불린 패밀리에 속하는 막관통 당단백질로, 신경계 전반에 걸쳐 다양한 120–180 kDa 이소폼 형태로 발현된다.
CD56은 T 세포 및 NK 세포에서 발견되며, 세포 이동, 축삭 성장, 경로 탐색, 시냅스 가소성 등에 관여한다. 폴리시아르산 변형은 CD56 매개 세포 부착을 감소시킨다.
CD56은 세포외 기질 성분(예: 라미닌, 인테그린)과의 상호작용을 통해 동종 및 이종 결합을 매개한다.
또한 대부분의 신경외배엽 유래 세포주 및 조직, 신경모세포종, 성상세포종, 망막모세포종, 수모세포종 등에서 발현된다.
CD56은 신경내분비 종양 및 난소 과립막세포종에서 높은 민감도를 보이는 신경내분비 마커로 널리 사용된다.
CD56 기능 이상은 광견병 및 blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasms와 관련이 있다.
