Product Specific Information
- Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- For formalin-fixed tissues: Heat tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 minutes at 95°C, then cool at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
CD56 (NCAM, neural cell adhesion molecule)은 면역글로불린 패밀리에 속하는 막단백질로, 세포 부착에 관여하며 신경계 전반에 걸쳐 120–180 kDa의 다양한 아이소폼으로 발현됩니다.
CD56은 T 세포와 NK 세포에서도 발견되며, 세포 이동, 축삭 성장, 경로 탐색, 시냅스 가소성에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
Polysialic 변형은 CD56 매개 세포 부착을 감소시키며, CD56은 laminin 및 integrin과 같은 세포외기질 성분과 상호작용합니다.
또한 CD56은 신경외배엽 유래 세포주, 조직, 종양(예: 망막모세포종, 수모세포종, 성상세포종, 신경모세포종)에 발현되며, 신경내분비종양 및 난소 과립막세포종의 민감한 마커로 널리 사용됩니다.
CD56 이상 발현은 광견병 및 blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasms와 관련이 있습니다.
