Product Specific Information
Description:
The eBioMWReg30 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse CD41 (fibrinogen receptor, gpIIb, integrin alpha IIb). CD41 is expressed on platelets, megakaryocytes, and hematopoietic progenitors. It forms a receptor complex with CD61 (gpIIIa, integrin beta III) that mediates platelet adhesion and aggregation by binding fibrinogen, fibronectin, and vitronectin.

Reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested:
Tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse platelets. Recommended usage ≤ 0.125 µg/test (100 µL final volume, 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test). Antibody should be titrated for optimal performance.
Filtration:
0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.
Target Information
CD41 (platelet glycoprotein IIb, ITGA2B) is composed of alpha (120 kDa) and beta (23 kDa) subunits that interact with CD61 in the presence of calcium to form a functional receptor. It mediates platelet aggregation and binds von Willebrand factor, fibrinogen, fibronectin, and vitronectin. Expressed mainly on megakaryocyte-platelet lineage and early hematopoietic cells.
Associated diseases: Glanzmann Thrombasthenia, Platelet type-16 bleeding disorder.
