C/EBP (CCAAT/enhancer binding protein) 패밀리(α, β, δ, ε)는 다양한 조직에서 발현되는 전사 인자군으로, 보존된 5 아미노산 모티프(RDM, (I/V/L)KXEP)를 포함합니다. 이들은 간 및 지방세포에서 대사 조절에 중요한 역할을 하며, 지방세포 발달 과정에서 연쇄적으로 작용합니다. C/EBPβ의 세 가지 아이소폼(LAP*, LAP, LIP)은 서로 다른 번역 개시점에서 생성되어 유전자 조절 기능이 다릅니다. 또한, C/EBPs는 신경 성장 인자 매개, 시냅스 가소성 변화, 알츠하이머병 환자의 염증 반응 조절과 관련되어 있습니다.
