Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs and Western blots, approximately 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant human MDL-1/CLEC5A is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
- Endotoxin level < 0.10 EU per 1 µg of antibody by the LAL method.
Target Information
CLEC5A functions as a positive regulator of osteoclastogenesis and acts as a cell surface receptor that signals via TYROBP. It regulates inflammatory responses and plays a key role in synovial injury and bone erosion during autoimmune joint inflammation. CLEC5A is a critical macrophage receptor for dengue virus serotypes 1–4. Binding of the dengue virus to CLEC5A triggers TYROBP phosphorylation and stimulates proinflammatory cytokine release without viral entry.
