Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs and Western blots, approximately 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant human ECE-1 is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
- Converts big endothelin-1 to endothelin-1.
- Involved in processing neuroendocrine peptides such as neurotensin, angiotensin I, substance P, proenkephalin-derived peptides, and prodynorphin-derived peptides.
- May limit beta-amyloid peptide accumulation in brain.
- May also have methyltransferase activity.
