Preparation:
Produced from sera of goats immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human sCD40 Ligand. Anti-Human sCD40 Ligand-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography employing an immobilized Human sCD40 Ligand matrix.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect Human sCD40 Ligand by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µL/well antibody solution), a concentration of 0.5–2.0 µg/mL is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech Biotinylated Anti-Human sCD40 Ligand (500-P142GBt) as a detection antibody, allows detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Human sCD40 Ligand.

Western Blot:
To detect Human sCD40 Ligand by Western Blot analysis, this antibody can be used at 0.1–0.2 µg/mL. Used with compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for Recombinant Human sCD40 Ligand is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

CD40 Ligand (CD40-L), or CD154, is a membrane glycoprotein and differentiation antigen expressed on T cells. It stimulates B cell proliferation and immunoglobulin secretion in the presence of cytokines. CD40 Ligand induces cytokine production and tumoricidal activity in monocytes and co-stimulates activated T cell proliferation, accompanied by IFN-γ, TNF-α, and IL-2 production.
