For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.

Target Information

Steroid receptors are ligand-dependent intracellular proteins that regulate gene transcription by binding to specific DNA sequences upon hormone activation.
Prior to activation, these receptors form complexes with various proteins, including heat shock proteins (HSP70, HSP90), immunophilins (FKBP52, FKBP54, CyP-40), and additional proteins such as p23, p60, and p48.

p23, encoded by the human PTGES3 gene, is a 160-amino-acid acidic phosphoprotein highly conserved across species. It interacts with HSP90 and is required for HSP90 and CyP-40 binding to the progesterone receptor (PR). Although its precise function remains unclear, p23 is known to be an important component of PR activity.
