For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, it is recommended to perform another round of desalting (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Steroid receptors are ligand-dependent intracellular proteins that stimulate transcription of specific genes following activation by hormones.
Prior to activation, these receptors associate with multiple proteins including heat shock proteins (HSP70, HSP90), immunophilins (FKBP52, FKBP54, CyP-40), and other proteins such as p23, p60, and p48.

p23, encoded by the human PTGES3 gene, is a 160-amino acid phosphoprotein highly conserved across species. It interacts with HSP90 and is essential for the binding of HSP90 and CyP-40 to the progesterone receptor (PR).
Although its exact mechanism remains unclear, p23 is considered an important factor in PR function.
