For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Component of the DRB sensitivity-inducing factor complex (DSIF complex), which regulates mRNA processing and transcription elongation by RNA polymerase II.
DSIF positively regulates mRNA capping by stimulating the mRNA guanylyltransferase activity of RNGTT/CAP1A.
It cooperates with the negative elongation factor complex (NELF) to enhance transcriptional pausing near promoters, facilitating assembly of elongation-competent RNA polymerase II complexes.
DSIF and NELF inhibit transcription elongation factor TFIIS/S-II, promoting transcriptional pausing.
DSIF also supports elongation activation by HIV-1 Tat and prevents premature transcript release from the HIV-1 LTR.
