• Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
• Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.

Target Information

CD73 (Ecto-5'-nucleotidase, 5'-ribonucleotide phosphohydrolase) catalyzes the conversion of purine 5'-mononucleotides to nucleosides at neutral pH, with AMP as the preferred substrate.
It forms a dimer of two identical 70 kDa subunits anchored to the plasma membrane via a glycosyl phosphatidylinositol linkage.
CD73 serves as a lymphocyte differentiation marker, and its deficiency is associated with various immunodeficiency disorders.
Distinct cytoplasmic and lysosomal 5'-nucleotidases differ from CD73 in substrate affinity, magnesium ion dependency, ATP activation, and phosphate inhibition.
The CD73 gene is located on chromosome 6q14–q21.
Mutations in CD73 can cause joint and arterial calcification and intestinal tuberculosis.
Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
