Product Specific Information
Heat-mediated antigen retrieval is recommended prior to staining, using a 10 mM citrate buffer (pH 6.0) for 10 minutes followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Following antigen retrieval, incubate samples with primary antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
A suggested positive control is tonsil tissue.
Target Information
LMO2 encodes a cysteine-rich, two LIM-domain protein essential for yolk sac erythropoiesis.
The LMO2 protein plays a central role in hematopoietic development and is highly conserved.
The LMO2 transcription start site is located approximately 25 kb downstream from the 11p13 T-cell translocation cluster (11p13 ttc), where T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia-specific translocations occur.
Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
