Heat-mediated antigen retrieval is recommended prior to staining, using a 10 mM citrate buffer (pH 6.0) for 10 minutes followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Following antigen retrieval, incubate samples with primary antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
A suggested positive control is breast carcinoma.

Target Information

Laminins are extracellular matrix glycoproteins that form a major noncollagenous component of basement membranes. They are involved in cell adhesion, differentiation, migration, signaling, neurite outgrowth, and metastasis.
Laminins consist of three non-identical chains—alpha, beta, and gamma (formerly A, B1, and B2)—forming a cruciform structure with short arms composed of individual chains and a long arm composed of all three.
Defects in the LMNB1 gene can cause leukodystrophy, demyelinating, autosomal dominant, adult-onset (ADLD).
