This antibody detects endogenous levels of total MCMBP protein.
Target Information
MEK1 (Mitogen activated protein kinase kinase 1) catalyzes the phosphorylation of threonine and tyrosine residues in the Thr-Glu-Tyr sequence of MAP kinases, activating ERK1 and ERK2. MEK2 (MAPKK2) also activates ERK1/2 by dual phosphorylation within the TEY motif. MEK1 and MEK2 are activated by phosphorylation at serine 218 and 222. Threonine 292 of MEK1 is phosphorylated by ERK2, providing a negative feedback mechanism that suppresses MEK1 activation.
