Product Specific Information
This antibody detects endogenous levels of DYRK2/4 only when phosphorylated at Y382/Y264.
Target Information
DYRK2 belongs to the dual-specificity tyrosine phosphorylation-regulated kinase (DYRK) family, involved in cellular proliferation and apoptosis. Under normal conditions, nuclear DYRK2 is ubiquitinated by MDM2, leading to degradation. Upon genotoxic stress, ATM phosphorylates DYRK2, causing dissociation from MDM2 and phosphorylation of p53, thereby inducing apoptosis. DYRK2 may also act as a scaffold facilitating E3 ubiquitin ligase assembly.
