Product Specific Information
This antibody detects endogenous levels of CSK only when phosphorylated at Tyr304.
Target Information
CSK (C-terminal Src kinase) is a tyrosine kinase that downregulates SRC oncoprotein activity by phosphorylating its carboxy terminus. Disruption of this phosphorylation is associated with cell transformation by SRC, suggesting that CSK may function as an antioncogene. CSK plays a crucial role in regulating cell growth, differentiation, migration, and immune responses. It phosphorylates tyrosine residues in the C-terminal tails of Src-family kinases such as LCK, SRC, HCK, FYN, LYN, CSK, and YES1. CSK is ubiquitously expressed as a ~50 kDa cytosolic protein, with a fraction localized to lipid rafts through interaction with PAG (Csk-binding protein).
