Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The HSD17B10 gene encodes 3-hydroxyacyl-CoA dehydrogenase type II, a mitochondrial enzyme belonging to the short-chain dehydrogenase/reductase superfamily.
It catalyzes oxidation of fatty acids, alcohols, and steroids.
Mutations cause 2-methyl-3-hydroxybutyryl-CoA dehydrogenase deficiency (MHBD) and have been associated with Alzheimer’s disease.
Several alternatively spliced transcript variants exist, with two full-length forms identified.
