- 재구성 시, 증류수 100 µL를 첨가하여 최종 농도가 약 1 mg/mL이 되도록 합니다.
- 결합 실험용 carrier-free 항체로 사용할 경우, 추가적인 탈염 과정(Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882)을 권장합니다.
Target Information
Glutamine synthase는 glutamine synthetase family에 속하며, 동물에서 암모니아의 흡수는 glutamate dehydrogenase와 glutamine synthase의 작용을 통해 이루어집니다. Glutamate는 질소 대사에서 중심적인 역할을 하며, 신경전달물질인 glutamate의 대사 조절에도 관여합니다. GS의 활성은 adenylylation에 의해 조절되며, Alzheimer’s disease로 영향을 받은 뇌의 대뇌피질에서 감소하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. 또한 포도당 결핍 조건에서도 감소합니다.
