Target Information
CENPF 유전자는 centromere-kinetochore 복합체와 결합하는 단백질을 암호화합니다. 이 단백질은 세포주기의 G2기 동안 핵 매트릭스의 구성 요소로 존재하며, 후기 G2기에는 kinetochore에 결합하여 초기 anaphase까지 유지합니다. 이후 spindle midzone 및 intracellular bridge로 이동하며, 후기 anaphase와 telophase 단계에서 각각 위치합니다. 이러한 위치 변화는 이 단백질이 유사분열 동안 염색체 분리에 관여함을 시사합니다. 단백질은 homo- 또는 heterodimer 형태를 취할 수 있으며, 암 또는 이식편대숙주질환(GVHD) 환자에서 해당 단백질에 대한 자가항체가 발견되었습니다.
