This antibody does not react with overexpressed mouse TRPM7, and does not work on endogenous samples tested for Western analysis (human, rat, and mouse cell lines).
Target Information
TRPCs are mammalian homologs of the Drosophila transient receptor potential (trp) protein, functioning as ion channels mediating calcium entry into cells. TRP-PLIK acts as both an ion channel and a kinase, conducting calcium and monovalent cations to depolarize cells and increase intracellular calcium. Its kinase activity enables autophosphorylation and phosphorylation of other substrates, and is essential for channel function, dependent on intracellular ATP and kinase mutants.
