Preparation:
Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human CTACK (CCL27). Anti-Human CTACK (CCL27)-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and then biotinylated.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect Human CTACK by sandwich ELISA (100 µL/well), use 0.25–1.0 µg/mL of this antibody. When used with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Human CTACK (500-P294) as a capture antibody, it detects at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Human CTACK.

Western Blot:
For detection of Human CTACK by Western Blot, use 0.1–0.2 mg/mL of this antibody. Detection limit for Recombinant Human CTACK is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

The CCL27 gene belongs to the CC cytokine family, located on the p-arm of chromosome 9. Cytokines are secreted proteins involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes. CC cytokines are characterized by two adjacent cysteines.
The protein encoded by this gene is chemotactic for skin-associated memory T lymphocytes and may play a role in lymphocyte homing to skin sites. It binds specifically to CCR10. Studies in murine models indicate that CCL27–CCR10 interactions are key in T cell-mediated skin inflammation.
