Amino Acid Sequence of Recombinant Protein:

Preparation:
Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Rat IP-10 (CXCL10). The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography using an immobilized Rat IP-10 (CXCL10) matrix.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect Rat IP-10 (CXCL10) by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µL/well antibody solution), use 0.5–2.0 µg/mL of this antibody. When used with PeproTech Biotinylated Anti-Rat IP-10 (CXCL10) (500-P290Bt) as detection antibody, it allows detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of recombinant Rat IP-10 (CXCL10).

Western Blot:
For Western blot analysis, use 0.1–0.2 µg/mL. With compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for recombinant Rat IP-10 is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under both reducing and non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

IP-10 (interferon-gamma induced protein 10 kD), also known as cytokine responsive gene 2 (Crg-2) or mob-1 in mouse, is a member of the CXC chemokine superfamily. It was first cloned in 1985. Although its biological functions are not fully understood, IP-10 is known to:

• Stimulate monocyte, NK, and T-cell migration
• Regulate T-cell and bone marrow progenitor maturation
• Modulate adhesion molecule expression
• Inhibit angiogenesis

Mig and IP-10 share the same receptor, CXCR3.
