AA Sequence of recombinant protein:

Preparation:
Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Rat IP-10 (CXCL10). The anti-Rat IP-10 (CXCL10)-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and subsequently biotinylated.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect Rat IP-10 by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µL/well antibody solution), use a concentration of 0.25–1.0 µg/mL. This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, combined with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Rat IP-10 (500-P290) as a capture antibody, enables detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Rat IP-10.

Western Blot:
To detect Rat IP-10 by Western Blot analysis, use this antibody at 0.1–0.2 µg/mL. When used with compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for Recombinant Rat IP-10 is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

IP-10 (interferon-gamma induced protein 10 kD; in mouse, also called cytokine responsive gene 2, Crg-2, or mob-1) belongs to the CXC chemokine superfamily and was first cloned in 1985.
Although its biological functions are not fully understood, IP-10 is known to:

• Stimulate migration of monocytes, NK cells, and T-cells
• Regulate T-cell and bone marrow progenitor maturation
• Modulate adhesion molecule expression
• Inhibit angiogenesis

Mig and IP-10 share the same receptor, CXCR3.
