Product Specific Information
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information
CD41 (platelet glycoprotein IIb, ITGA2B) consists of two subunits (120 kDa alpha and 23 kDa beta) that interact with CD61 in the presence of calcium to form a functional adhesive protein receptor.
CD41 plays a key role in platelet aggregation and blood coagulation by binding to proteins such as von Willebrand factor, fibrinogen, fibronectin, and vitronectin.
It is mainly expressed in the megakaryocyte-platelet lineage and is involved in early hematopoietic differentiation.
Diseases associated with CD41 dysfunction include Glanzmann Thrombasthenia and platelet-type 16 bleeding disorder.
