Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information
Human growth hormone (hGH) belongs to the somatotropin/prolactin family, essential for growth regulation. The GH1 gene, located on chromosome 17, forms part of a locus with four related genes sharing high sequence identity. Alternative splicing yields isoforms of 19–24 kDa. hGH is secreted by pituitary somatotroph cells and acts via cytokine receptor family members to stimulate IGF-1 secretion, muscle differentiation, amino acid uptake, and protein synthesis. Mutations or deletions in GH1 can lead to growth hormone deficiency and short stature.
