FLEG 단일클론 항체는 인간 CD162 (P-selectin glycoprotein ligand-1, PSGL-1)을 인식합니다. CD162는 120 kDa 단백질로, 단핵구, 호중구, 과립구, 말초 T 세포, 일부 B 세포, 그리고 골수 내 CD34+ 조혈 전구세포(HPCs) 표면에 존재합니다.
CD162는 CD62P (P-selectin), CD62E (E-selectin), CD62L (L-selectin)과 결합하여 백혈구 간 및 활성화된 혈소판, 내피세포 간 상호작용을 매개합니다. 이러한 기능을 통해 백혈구 부착 및 구르기(rolling)에 중요한 역할을 하며, HPC의 P-selectin 결합은 조혈 억제에 영향을 미칠 수 있습니다. 또한 CD162는 enterovirus 71의 수용체로 보고된 바 있습니다.
