Preparation:
Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human CTACK (CCL27). Anti-Human CTACK (CCL27)-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography employing an immobilized Human CTACK (CCL27) matrix.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect Human CTACK (CCL27) by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µL/well antibody solution), a concentration of 0.5–2.0 µg/mL of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech Biotinylated Anti-Human CTACK (CCL27) (500-P294Bt) as a detection antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Human CTACK (CCL27).

Western Blot:
To detect Human CTACK by Western Blot analysis, this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1–0.2 µg/mL. When used with compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for Recombinant Human CTACK is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

The CCL27 gene is part of the CC cytokine gene cluster on chromosome 9p. Cytokines are secreted proteins involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes. CC cytokines are characterized by two adjacent cysteines. The protein encoded by this gene is chemotactic for skin-associated memory T lymphocytes and may mediate lymphocyte homing to cutaneous sites. It specifically binds to chemokine receptor 10 (CCR10). Studies of murine homologs suggest a key role in T cell–mediated skin inflammation.
