Target Information
Radixin is a cytoskeletal protein involved in linking actin to the plasma membrane. It shares high sequence similarity with ezrin and moesin. The radixin gene is localized to chromosome 11q23, with pseudogenes RDXP2 (Xp21.3) and RDXP1 (11p). Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
