MA5-15608 targets CD247 in indirect ELISA, FACS, IF, IHC, and WB applications and shows reactivity with human samples.
The immunogen is a purified recombinant fragment of human CD247 expressed in E. coli.
MA5-15608 detects CD247 with a predicted molecular weight of approximately 18 kDa.

Target Information

The CD3z complex is crucial in transducing antigen-recognition signals into the cytoplasm of T cells and regulating the surface expression of the TCR complex.
T cell activation through the antigen receptor (TCR) involves the cytoplasmic tails of CD3 subunits (CD3γ, CD3δ, CD3ε, and CD3ζ). These subunits are members of the immunoglobulin superfamily encoded by closely linked genes on human chromosome 11.
CD3 components have long cytoplasmic tails that associate with signal transduction molecules via a double tyrosine-based motif.

CD3 is expressed on 68–82% of normal peripheral blood lymphocytes, 65–85% of thymocytes, and Purkinje cells in the cerebellum. It is not expressed on B or NK cells.
Decreased T lymphocyte percentages may be observed in some autoimmune diseases.
Diseases associated with CD3z include Immunodeficiency 25 and T-B+ Severe Combined Immunodeficiency due to CD3δ/CD3ε/CD3ζ defects.
