Product Specific Information
This RR4-7 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse V beta 6 TCR.
TCR specificity is determined by Va, Ja, Vb, Db, and Jb gene rearrangement.
The RR4-7 antibody recognizes the V beta 6 chain on T cells from mouse strains with the a (e.g., C57BR, SJL) and b haplotypes (e.g., BALB/c, C3H, DBA/1).
Strains expressing the Mls-1a antigen with MHC Class II I-E show fewer V beta 6 TCR+ T cells.
RR4-7 antibody demonstrates functional activity in vitro and in vivo.
Reported applications include flow cytometric analysis.
Tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes at ≤0.125 µg/test (100 µL volume).
Cell number may range from 10⁵ to 10⁸ cells/test.
Careful titration recommended for optimal performance.
PerCP-eFluor® 710 can replace PE-Cy5, PE-Cy5.5, or PerCP-Cy5.5.

Recommended filter: 685 LP dichroic mirror and 710/40 band pass (or 695/40 BP alternative).
PerCP-eFluor® 710 conjugated antibodies are stable when samples are fixed with 2% formaldehyde overnight at 4°C.

Gamma-delta T cells reside mainly in epithelia, showing less diversity and distinct antigen recognition, with antitumor and immunoregulatory roles.
