Product #35552 has been successfully used in Western blot, IF, ICC, IHC, IP, and FACS applications.
This antibody reacts with the heavy chains of rabbit IgG and the light chains common to most rabbit immunoglobulins, but does not react against non-immunoglobulin serum proteins.
Cross-reactivity with immunoglobulins from other species may occur.

Store protected from light at 4°C. To extend shelf life, add an equal volume of glycerol to reach ~50% glycerol and store at -20°C.
DyLight 488 Amax = 493 nm; Emax = 518 nm. Mole Dye/Mole Protein Ratio is lot-dependent.

Target Information

Anti-Rabbit secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for rabbit immunoglobulins.
They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of rabbit IgG and provide increased versatility through multiple detection systems (HRP, AP, fluorescence).
Signal amplification is achieved as multiple secondary antibodies bind to a single primary antibody.
These antibodies are generated by immunizing the host with pooled rabbit immunoglobulins and further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, fragmentation, label conjugation) for high specificity.
