Product #35551 has been successfully used in Western blot, IF, ICC, IHC, IP, and FACS applications.
This antibody reacts with the heavy chains of rabbit IgG and with the light chains common to most rabbit immunoglobulins, but does not react against non-immunoglobulin serum proteins. Cross-reactivity with immunoglobulins from other species may occur.

Store protected from light at 4°C until opened. To extend shelf life, add an equal volume of glycerol (final concentration ~50%) and store at -20°C.
DyLight 405: Amax = 400 nm; Emax = 420 nm. Mole Dye/Mole Protein Ratio is lot-dependent.

Target Information

Anti-Rabbit secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for rabbit immunoglobulins. They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of rabbit antibodies.
Secondary antibodies provide versatility and enhanced sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody.
Typically, they are produced by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, fragmentation, conjugation) for high specificity and performance.
