Target Information
CDC25A는 CDC25 인산화효소 계열에 속하며, 인간 세포에는 CDC25A, CDC25B, CDC25C 세 가지 유전자가 존재합니다. 이들은 세포주기 각 단계에서 기능하며, CDC25A는 G1 및 S 단계 진행에 필요합니다. CDC25A는 cyclin-dependent kinase CDC2의 두 인산기를 제거하여 활성화합니다. DNA 손상 시 CDC25A는 특이적으로 분해되어 염색체 이상이 있는 세포의 분열 진행을 억제합니다. CDC25A는 암유전자(oncogene)이지만, 종양형성에서의 정확한 역할은 아직 명확히 규명되지 않았습니다.
