Preparation:
Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Murine IL-22. Anti-Murine IL-22-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and then biotinylated.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect mIL-22 by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µL/well antibody solution), a concentration of 0.25–1.0 µg/mL of this antibody is required. This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Murine IL-22 (500-P223) as a capture antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of Recombinant mIL-22.

Western Blot:
To detect mIL-22 by Western Blot analysis, this antibody can be used at 0.1–0.2 µg/mL. When used with compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for Recombinant mIL-22 is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

IL-22, also known as IL-10-related T-cell derived inducible factor, is an alpha-helical cytokine and a member of the IFN-IL-10 family (including IL-19, IL-20, IL-24, IL-26, IL-28, IL-29, and type I/II interferons). It is mainly produced by activated T cells and NK cells.
In humans, the IL-22 gene is located on chromosome 12q and structurally related to IL-10. IL-22 acts via a heterodimeric receptor complex (IL-22R1 and IL-10R2), activating the JAK-STAT signaling pathway.
IL-22 primarily targets nonimmune cells such as skin, digestive, and respiratory epithelial cells, hepatocytes, and keratinocytes. It plays a critical role in host defense, wound healing, and inflammation regulation, particularly in Th17-mediated immune responses.
