Target Information
eIF4A2는 DEAD box helicase 패밀리에 속하는 407 아미노산 길이의 ATP 의존성 RNA helicase입니다.
이 단백질은 helicase ATP-binding 도메인과 helicase C-terminal 도메인을 포함하며, eIF4F 복합체의 하위 단위로서 단백질 합성 개시에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
또한 Hepatitis C virus(NS5B 단백질)와 상호작용하여 HCV 게놈 RNA의 2차 구조를 풀어주며 RNA 합성을 촉진합니다.
대부분의 정상 조직에서 보편적으로 발현되지만, 발현량은 조직에 따라 다릅니다.
