Target Information
GSK3B is a proline-directed serine/threonine protein kinase involved in energy metabolism, neuronal development, and body pattern formation. It negatively regulates glucose homeostasis and participates in inflammation, ER stress, mitochondrial dysfunction, and apoptosis.
As a key component of the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway, GSK3B inhibits Wnt signaling by promoting β-catenin degradation. It is also implicated in Hedgehog, Notch, and insulin signaling pathways.
