Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information

Vasodilator-stimulated phosphoprotein (VASP) is a member of the Ena-VASP protein family.

• Contains an EHV1 N-terminal domain that binds proteins with E/DFPPPPXD/E motifs and targets Ena-VASP proteins to focal adhesions.
• The mid-region has a proline-rich domain that binds SH3 and WW domain-containing proteins.
• The C-terminal EVH2 domain mediates tetramerization and binds G and F actin.
  VASP is associated with filamentous actin formation and plays a role in cell adhesion and motility. It may also participate in intracellular signaling pathways regulating integrin-extracellular matrix interactions.
  VASP is regulated by cyclic nucleotide-dependent kinases PKA and PKG.
