Product Specific Information
The 2H7 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD20, a 33–36 kDa transmembrane protein expressed by developing and mature B cells but not plasma cells. CD20 may play a role in B-cell activation.
- Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
- Applications Tested: Pre-diluted and tested on normal human peripheral blood cells at 5 µL (0.5 µg) per test
- Recommended Use: For cytometers equipped with a violet (405 nm) laser detecting emission at 423 nm
When using multiple polymer dye-conjugated antibodies (e.g., Super Bright, Brilliant Violet™, Brilliant Ultra Violet™), use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401-42) or Brilliant Stain Buffer™ (Product # 00-4409-75) to minimize non-specific interactions.

Target Information
CD20 is a non-glycosylated surface phosphoprotein (33–37 kDa) expressed on mature and most malignant B cells, subsets of T lymphocytes, and follicular dendritic cells. It regulates calcium conductance, cell cycle progression, and B-cell proliferation. CD20 remains on the cell surface after antibody binding, making it a useful target for B-cell depletion therapies.
Diseases associated with CD20 dysfunction include Ms4a1-related common variable immune deficiency.
