이 항체는 CD28의 세포외 에피토프를 인식하며, CD28은 T 세포의 공동자극 수용체로 작용하는 이황화 결합된 동종이합체형 type I 당단백질(단량체 Mw 44 kDa)입니다.
Endotoxin 수준은 LAL 시험에 따라 단백질 1 µg당 0.01 EU 미만입니다.

Target Information
CD28 항원은 44 kDa의 이황화 결합된 동종이합체형 T 세포 특이 표면 당단백질입니다.
CD28은 면역글로불린 초가족에 속하는 세포 부착 분자로, 대부분의 말초혈 T 림프구에서 발현됩니다.
CD28은 항원제시세포(APC)가 발현하는 CD80/CD86과 결합하여 T 세포 활성화를 위한 두 번째 신호를 제공합니다.
또한 CD28은 T 세포의 무반응(anergy) 상태나 조기 세포사(apoptosis)를 방지하는 역할을 합니다.
생쥐의 말초 림프기관과 혈액에서는 모든 CD4+, CD8+ T 세포가 CD28을 발현하며, 흉선에서는 미성숙 CD3-, CD8+, CD4+8+, CD4-8- 세포에서 높은 수준으로 발현됩니다.
CD28 기능 이상은 mycosis fungoides 및 Sezary’s Disease와 관련이 있습니다.
